I'm Meo, and I am an artist! I am passionate about creating vibrant paintings and illustrations and capturing life's beautiful moments on my canvas.
I believe that art has the power to inspire, evoke emotions, and connect people across various backgrounds and cultures.
With every stroke of my brush, I aim to leave the viewer dreaming about living in one of my landscapes. I hope that my paintings are an invitation to escapism.
I am constantly striving to improve my craft and use my skills to encourage others to pursue their own creative dreams and journeys.
My passion as a painter and illustrator comes from a life-long desire to create, and represent the beauty around me.
Growing up between Europe and Africa, I was always out surrounded by many cultures and landscapes that deeply inspired my aesthetics.
I began my art journey sketching and drawing mangas. Painting came later on in my life, as I was reconnecting with my artistic self during university.
I am always mesmerized by the way paintings and art can speak to others without using words.
Paint and brushmarks on a canvas create a shared experience between you, the viewer, and me, the artist.
This connection brings me so much joy and encourages me to paint the world that surrounds me: a world full of color and beautiful unlikely places.
